My wife and I went to dinner at a steak house this evening. There was a group of 6 ladies sitting in the booth behind my wife. All of a sudden, 2 of the girls got up and left the table rather quickly. As they stepped into the main hallway, I heard a "hmphk." My eyes got real big and I gave my wife the "secret" word, "singultus." She knows what that means and all she said to me was, "see ya." I left and followed the 2 girls, but lost sight of them as they were almost running. I headed for the restrooms as that appeared to be the direction they were heading. I entered the first door which leads to a small room that houses 2 pay phones and, of course, the 2 restroom doors. I placed myself near the ladies' restroom and what do I hear, but music to my ears!! I heard several very loud hiccups. They were very similar to the "H" girl. For those not familiar with the "H" girl. They are the one syllable, mouth wide open, very loud HIIICC type. The were about 3 seconds apart. At one point, she held her breath and I could hear a couple of "hmphks." Then I heard her say, "It hurts more when you try to hold them in, HIIICC." I heard her friend laugh at her then say, "Wow, they are strong." After a few more HIIICCs, they stopped and then after getting herself together, she and her friend walked out. I made like I was walking out of the men's room just to see what this girl looked like. The friend was ok, lol, But the hiccuper was in her mid 20s. She was a dirty blond, nicely built, about 5'08" 135, wearing a white tee and khaki shorts. If only she still had them. There was a great view of her neck and a portion of her tummy was showing. It would have been fantastic if I would have seen her with the hiccups.
